Society Archives
The SHFG archives, which contain the records of the organization since its founding in 1979, are held at the American University Archives and Special Collections on the campus of American University. The SHFG archives include the official papers of its officers, correspondence with the Society, meeting minutes, financial records, records of committees, awards committee files, and a record set of Society publications. The records consist of paper records, photographs, audio files, and electronic records.
Individuals interested in researching the history of the Society should contact the American University Archives and Special Collections directly. All researchers are welcome and appointments are strongly encouraged.
