2020 Annual Meeting: Cancelled Due to COVID-19 Situation

Dear SHFG Members and Annual Meeting Panelists:

After much consideration, the SHFG leadership has decided to cancel our meeting scheduled for this weekend, March 13-14, 2020, at the Byrd Center. In light of the Covid-19 situation, and with many federal offices on do-not-travel orders, we do not want to risk anyone contracting an illness. And at this stage, this would be a shell of a conference.

We will be holding the 2021 annual meeting March 5-6, 2021, at the Byrd Center in Shepherdstown. If you had a panel accepted for 2020, we will plan on including you in the 2021 program. More details to follow.

HOTEL CANCELLATIONS

If you have a room at the Clarion, please call and cancel as soon as possible. They have a 24- hour cancellation policy, so no fees will be assessed.

If you booked outside of the SHFG room block for the Bavarian Inn, please call and cancel. If you were within the SHFG room block, the rooms have been automatically cancelled.

Conference Fees

If your office or agency paid your conference fees and you require a refund, please fill out this google form

If you self-paid the conference fees, we can provide a refund. Or we can roll the fees into next year’s conference. Please fill out this google form. Please email shfg.primary@gmail.com with any questions or refund concerns.

Again, we are disappointed to have to cancel our 2020 annual meeting. Thank you all for your understanding and cooperation.

Sincerely,

SHFG Program Committee
