Tour the National Museum of the U.S. Army Special Exhibits Join us for a visit to two featured special exhibitions at the National Museum of the United States Army: "CALL TO Arms: The Soldier and the Revolutionary War" opened to great acclaim in June 2025 for the 250th anniversary of the birth of the U.S. Army. The exhibit won the Society's Historic Preservation and Exhibitions Award in 2026. "Steel & Stone: Engineering the Respone to 9/11" opened on August 28, 2026. This new exhibit examines the role of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in the wake of the 2001 terrorist attacks. We will meet with the Museum's Director and exhibits team to hear more about the development of these two exhibits and explore the spaces on our own. The tour is free and open to 35 current SHFG members. Join us after the tour for happy hour at Fair Winds Brewery. https://fairwindsbrewing.com/beers-on-tap/ Museum parking is free and abundant.
